AIRSOFT-DIRECT Have now agreed to sell RIF's to members on the SWAT Player Approval Site System (P.A.S.S) Database. The system fulfills all the legal requirments of player verification which is inline with the restrictions and legalities of the vcra.

If you are located in the UK and considering purchasing an Airsoft replica, especially if this is the first replica you have purchased since October 1st 2007, please read this important information before purchasing.
The laws regarding the sale of Airsoft Replicas & Guns have now changed. Put simply from now on, you must be able to prove that you are at least 18 years old and are a registered Airsoft skirmisher in order to purchase an Airsoft replica from any Airsoft retailers. To make sure Airsoft replica sales can continue as normal for those who meet these requirements the UKARA (United Kingdom Airsoft Retailers Association), of which Airsoft Direct is a member, have setup a players scheme with a database. The skirmish sites that have registered with the UKARA will provide you with a membership number once you prove your age to them and have played the required number of times. When you order Airsoft replicas from Airsoft Direct, you simply quote your membership number and we will check your details on the database to ensure you are entitled to purchase. More recently SWAT have set up the (P.A.S.S), player approval site system. This fulfills all the UK legal requirements on player verification and works much like the UKARA system.
Due to this scheme, distance selling such as mail order and online sales are still allowed. Please also be aware that customers located out side of the UK are unaffected, such as those located in the Republic of Ireland.
Please note that these changes do not affect any other products, so the sale of all magazines, accessories, parts and consumables will continue as normal.
